This wine bottle cozy is the perfect hostess gift or a gift for any occasion and you can make it in just about 1-2 hours!

Also makes a great scrap yarn project since it doesn’t require much yarn. :)

Gauge: 7 sc and 7 rows = 2 inches
Difficulty Level: Some experience needed, mostly easy.
Time required: Approximately 2 hours.

Materials needed:

• Size H/8 hook (5.00 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.

• Approximately 25-50 yards of color A (contrast color) and 60-100 yards of color B (main color), medium weight (4) yarn. (One ball each if purchasing new.) For color A (contrast color), I used Loops and Threads® Impeccable™ in Soft Taupe in the main picture. For color B (main color), I used Loops and Threads® Impeccable™ Tweed in Aran in the main picture.

• Approximately 33 in (84 cm) of ribbon. I used “Celebrate It” from Michael’s (3/8 in; 9.5 mm size).

• Yarn needle and scissors for weaving in ends.

• Wine, sparkling grape juice, artisan oil, or gift of your choice to go in your new cozy.
