Work Sock Pullover for Ken
This pattern will show you how to knit a fitted pullover sweater for your broad body type fashionista Ken dolls and other dolls with similar proportions. The broad body type fashionista Ken doll has a 6.75” chest, 6” waist, and 2.5” bicep, and the pullover is designed to stretch across the chest and shoulders with a bit of negative ease.
This is a straightforward classic raglan pullover, styled after vintage work sweaters. Any light fingering weight yarn will work for this pattern. The sweaters in the pattern photos were knit using Loops & Threads brand “Woolike” yarn in Beige, Cool Gray, and Rose.
The pullover opens at the back of the neck for easy dressing, either over the head or feet first. The overlapping back seam will keep the back of the sweater looking neat for photographs. The pattern calls for 1 or 2 snap fasteners, velcro, or your choice of closure.
