Since moving to the smallholding my husband has taken up beekeeping and from time to time, he brings in chunks of honeycomb or wax, once with a few eggs and baby bees in! All these treasures from the hives are so extraordinarily beautiful they inspired me to design a few patterns.

This pattern is the Worker Bees Fingerless Mitts, a cute bee colourwork detail across the knuckles on a pair of fingerless mitts.
