Working Cables Cardigan
About the Design:
This sweater has a fitted silhouette, with just enough ease to fit over a blouse or top. I wanted it to look equally as good with jeans on the weekend, as it would with a skirt or slacks at work.
I knit it in Peace Fleece worsted weight, which is a 70% American and Russian wool blend with 30% mohair. Peace Fleece comes in wonderful heather shades.
The sleeves are square-inset, for less underarm bulk, yet are easy to work. Finishing is minimal. The edgings are single crocheted with slip stitch, which do not detract from the cables and creates a clean line. The back of the neck is shaped with short rows, and the large collar sits away from the neck for stylish comfort.
