Working Morning Shift
This is a fairly simple knit pattern, embellished with crocheted picots and a crocheted flower, knit flat and square and then seamed up one side to create a tube, and gathered at the top by means of a chain or i-cord threaded through eyelets along one edge of the work. The ridging created by the garter stitch makes this stretch over the top of the pot, and allows for trapping air, the true insulator. There is also a small hole for the spout, allowing the coffee to be poured without taking it off of the pot.
