I finally can present the Workshop sock from my book “Swing-Socken” - in our Ravelry group Knitting the Swing - Swing-Knitting you could already adore some beautiful socks of this type.

The Workshop sock is the one you knit in exactly this size, and you’ll learn all the techniques you need for all Swing socks by doing this. Step by step I lead you through: First the short-row heel, then the stockinette sole, then the short-row toes. Then you’ll do some Swing stanzas and pauses, close the foot and finish the leg part in Swing-Knitting.
The book is published by oz creativ / Christophorus Verlag and there is - up to now - only the German version.
You don’t need any knowledge in Swing-Knitting to do this sock - first you’ll knit the Workshop sock and then you can do all other patterns.

Hier ist endlich die Workshop-Socke aus meinem Buch Swing-Socken - in unserer Ravelry-Gruppe Knitting the Swing - Swing-Knitting konnten wir ja schon einige tolle Exemplare hiervon bewundern!
Die Socke wird in Größe 38/39 gestrickt, und an ihr lernst du alle Techniken, die du für alle Sockenpaare dieses Buches brauchst. Schritt für Schritt zeige ich dir, wie es geht: Von der Bumerangferse über die Sohle bis zur Spitze mit verkürzten Reihen, und dann geht’s in der Swing-Technik weiter, Strophe für Strophe und Pause für Pause. Zwischendurch wird die Fußnaht geschlossen und dann der restliche Sockenschaft geswingt.

Das Buch wird im Verlag oz creativ /Christophorus Verlag herausgegeben und ist bisher nur auf Deutsch erhältlich.
Um den Sommerspass zu stricken, brauchst du keine Vorkenntnisse im Swing-Stricken - nachdem du den Workshop-Socken gestrickt hast, weißt du alles, was du für die Socken-Modelle benötigst!
Es hat einen Riesenspaß gemacht, das Buch zu schreiben!
