This is a written pattern for the World of Stars Yoga Mat Bag! This is a tubular shaped bag to hold your yoga or fitness mat for workouts on the go. It’s modeled for a “generic” mat with a width or 24-25 inches (61-64 centimeters). The pattern includes detailed information on how to alter and adjust your bag as you go to fit your mat, if the generic size doesn’t fit. It is made with cotton yarn, which has less elasticity to maintain shape & remain durable for use outside. The pattern works up in a beautiful texture, so it’s stylish AND very functional!

Single Crochet
Increase
Double Crochet
Double Crochet in the 3rd Loop
Half Double Crochet
Half Double Crochet in the 3rd Loop
Front Post Double Crochet
Back Post Double Crochet
Shell Stitch
Star Stitch
Slip Stitch

INCLUDED in the pattern are photo instructions for how to complete the star stitch, and HDC 3rd loop. There are detailed written instructions for the shell stitch. You must know the rest of the stitches, but there are lots of wonderful youtube videos to help you out!

Materials needed:

• 5mm Hook
• Approx 450yards of cotton, or cotton blend yarn
• Stitch marker (if you like to mark joining rounds)
• Tapestry or darning needle
• Tape measure
