I knitted many pairs of these slippers when I was a kid. They were the easiest slippers ever! Just a rectangle with two stitch patterns – garter stitch and 1x1 ribbing all made to the size of your own feet.

I don’t know where this pattern ever came from and as far as I know it was never written down anywhere. It was just passed around from girl to girl whenever friends would get together and knit back in the 60’s.
