This has become a favorite in my wardrobe! I wear my heavier weight one on colder days and the lighter weight one when I want something a bit less warm.

A simple accessory made from DK, worsted or thicker yarn! You can even hold 2 strands of something together!

Start knitting flat and eventually join in the round. You end up with a cowl that has bandana shawl characteristics! No yardage wasted on flaps, it sits perfectly centered on your neck/chest and never falls off!

Gauge isn’t important as long as you get a fabric you like, though your yardage and needles may vary. You will need to block your finished cowl so I recommend something woolly.
