Create your own Worry Bear!

Feeling anxious or worried? Take a moment to write (or draw) your worry on a piece of paper, fold it up and feed it to the Worry Bear!

This can also be used as a tool to open up discussions about anxiety and mental health, especially with young people.

The size of the completed Bear depends on the yarn and hook size used. The Bears in the pictures were made using aran (#4 worsted weight) yarn and 3.5mm hook with 20mm glitter safety eyes and are approx 15cm tall.

There are two versions included - open mouth or all-in-one.

The PDF includes lots of pictures with detailed instructions!

This pattern has been written using US crochet terminology. Skills required include making a magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, increasing and decreasing, chain, slip stitch, bobble stitch and changing yarn colour.
