BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF CROCHET SKILLS IS NEEDED.

what you will need:
yarn ~ 5 COLORS (1 for each pal) + ORANGE, PINK, & an ACCENT COLOR
hook size to match yarn weight
stitch marker
polyfil for stuffing
scissors
yarn needle
pins to hold while attaching pieces
safety eyes/nose if you prefer
pony beads for legs (the number of beads per leg is up to you)
OPTIONAL ~ keychain clasp

abbreviations:
st(s) ~ stitch(es)
mr ~ magic ring
ch ~ chain
sc ~ single crochet
hdc ~ half double crochet
dc ~ double crochet
tr ~ triple crochet
ss ~ slip stitch
inc ~ increase
dec ~ decrease
rpt ~ repeat
rnd ~ round
sk ~ skip
BLO ~ back loop only
FLO ~ front loop only
bbl ~ bobble stitch (link provided) 5 dc bbl
puff ~ puff stitch (link provided)
F/O ~ fasten off

notes:

1. this pattern is worked in continuous rounds & US terms
2. I use the yarn over technique, using a different way may throw sts off
3. I use the invisible decrease technique
4. I used “I Love This Yarn” for all colors
5. I used a 3.75mm hook
6. I used 9mm eyes for animals and 12mm eyes for the owl
7. the st marker is always at the back
8. all work is from the bottom up
9. do legs first
10. if using a plastic (metal) keychain clasp like I did A. just cut yarn after your ch in directions (I cut about 24 inches to be safe) B. then slide it one after the ch before continuing last rnd
