Worsted Boxy is Boxy’s big brother…
Much much quicker to make, but equally awesome.

This is a very simple modern sweater, with a very wide body and skinny sleeves. Worked with a worsted weight yarn at a very loose gauge, it is very flattering, drapey and stylish! A little short row section in the shoulders adds an interesting texture to the sleeves.

Directions are given to make a seamless version (worked in the round) or a seamed version (worked back and forth) of the body. The sleeves and the neckband are worked seamlessly in the round in both versions.

Finished Measurements:
Body circumference: 64 (68, 68, 68, 76, 76, 76) inches; 160 (170, 170, 170, 190, 190, 190) cm.
Sleeve circumference at elbow: 10 (10½, 11¼, 11¾, 12¼, 13¼, 14) inches; 25 (26½, 29, 29, 30½, 33, 34½) cm.
Sleeve length from elbow to cuff: 6 inches; 15 cm.
Length from shoulder to bottom: 21½ (21¾, 22¼, 24¼, 24½, 26, 26½) inches; 53½ (54, 55½, 60½, 61½, 65, 66½) cm.

Materials:
Yarn: Malabrigo Yarn Rios (210 yd /100g), 5 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins. Shown in colorway “Niebla”.
Needles:
US 9 (5.5mm) straight or circular needles for the body (directions for seamed and seamless versions are provided).
US 9 (5.5mm) and US 7 (4.5mm) circular needles for the neckband and sleeves (needed for both versions).
Other Notions: Stitch holders, tapestry needle, an extra needle for 3-needle-bind off.

Gauge:
Note: It is very important that you stretch your fabric when blocking, so make sure you measure your swatch after blocking it this way.

14 st and 20 rows to 4 inches on US 9 (5.5mm) needles, in stockinette stitch, after blocking the fabric, really stretching it.
