Worsted Candy Cane Lane Throw

This cozy throw blanket uses a combination of some of my favorite stitches and stripes to create a whimsical and festive effect! The borders are done in garter stitch (and we slip the first stitch of every row in to create a neat edge) and the rest of the pattern is broken up into sections, alternating between stripes or stitch patterns, and different colors. I recommend choosing 3 bold colors and 2 neutral colors to create a similar effect to my sample, but the throw could also be knit in any combination or types of colors of the knitter’s choosing.
