I had to create a simpler version of my Snow Pony Fancy Mittens because I couldn’t NOT make my friend’s kid horse mittens, but she loses stuff (no way I’m doing the super fine version!) plus there are so many nice washable yarns in worsted. I combined half of the horse from my other mitten with some Selbu vine pattern background, and I might like this version better!

Since I made “flippy top” convertible mittens for the kid, I included my notes on how to do that. The pattern charts will work just as well for regular mittens or flippy ones.
