Woven Leaves
Note: The download has been updated to include a the written instructions for the lace pattern and the corrected version for the ending. The file is wovenleaves3.pdf In the original, the ending reads do rows 3 and 4 twice and then row 23,1,2 . It should read, 3 and 4 twice and then rows 1 and 2. This has all been updated in the latest version.
This is a simple scarf to make, it is based on a Japanese lace pattern that is very repetitive and shifts from one spot to another. The shift lends the flowing woven leaves look to the pattern. The scarf can be made in any size yarn, you just have to change the number of pattern repeats, which is dealt with in the pattern. It would look just as good in sport weight or chunky as it would in fingering.
Almost all of the pattern is based on a chart which is included in the instructions.
