This project is worked in 2 separate pieces—Vertical Strips and Horizontal Strips—that are woven together after the knitting is complete.

Cream sample (Sample A): 4 skeins of Rowan Little Big Wool in Color 507; 66 yds / 60 m per 50 g skein; 67% wool, 33% nylon
(Rowan Little Big Wool has been discontinued, substitute with
approximately 255 yds of bulky-weight yarn in the same gauge.)
Gray sample (Sample B): 3 skeins of Cascade Venezia Worsted in Color 131; 219 yds / m per 100 g skein; 70% merino wool,
30% silk, used with 2 strands held together
NEEDLES
Size 13 / 9 mm 24” / 60 cm circular needle
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
NOTIONS
3 buttons ¾” / 1.9 cm diameter
2 spare circular needles or scrap yarn to use as stitch holders
