Woven Stitch Scarf
This scarf will look good in any multicolored yarn – variegated or even two strands of different colors twisted together. If you are working with acrylic, it is crucial that you steam block stretching the piece to the size after it is finished. This will help to add a nice drape and soften the yarn.
Woven Stitch (A.K.A Linen Stitch) is a very tight stitch so it is necessary to use bigger needles. I am a loose knitter thus needles 15 were fine with me. If you happen to be a tight knitter, I suggest you go for a bigger needle.
This scarf pattern is knit with an odd number of stitches. I used the left over yarn to make a matching hat. If you are planning on making only the scarf and you don’t want to have left over yarn then, make it a little narrower with fewer stitches in order to use only one skein.
