Wrap & Run
If you put three of my patterns in your cart for purchase, the fourth pattern will be free.
Also available in an E-Book/bundle - see below for more on this.
Errata: If you are making the 3 needle bindoff version of this, you should Cast on 240 stitches. This has been updated in the library in the 3 needle Bindoff PDF.
Who says a Rhinebeck sweater has to be a sweater? I figure I can fit a LOT of yarn under this wrap (and a fried artichoke as well…can’t wait for the fried artichoke!)
Wrap & Run is a large square split down half the middle to make room for your head. It is made in two pieces (right and left) and then joined at the top to knit the back from the top down forming a seamless garment. It’s a great beginner project for someone who is ready to take on something larger than a shawl since it is very simple and uses almost all garter stitch. There is also an option for a 3 needle bindoff at the shoulders if you’d like to do it in three separate pieces, from the bottom up. The left side is shorter than the right side (by design and not because I can’t count rows) and the stripes are offset to make it flattering.
Measurements
50” X 50”
Materials
Miss Babs Yowza(560 yards per skein) DK/light worsted
2 skeins Yowza in Slate
2 skeins Yowza in Pewter

1200 yards of a light color
400 yards of a bright/variegated color
Please note
There are two versions available in the interests of saving paper. One is for knitting the back of the wrap from the top down (One Piece version) and the other is for knitting each piece separately and joining at the shoulders with a three needle bindoff.
Your finished wrap should be steam blocked on your bed rather than wet blocked. I changed my duvet cover first, and threw it into the wash along with my i-phone. Any inadvertently laundered mobile phones are not the responsibility of Casapinka.
E-Book
The colorwork is the same technique as in Painted Windows and Wool & Waves and consists of just carrying two colors together. I’ve put these three patterns into an e-book for $14.00. If you’ve already purchased one or both of the shawl patterns, the discount will be adjusted on purchase of the wrap. You must be logged into Ravelry to do this - put the pattern(s) that you want in your cart and the discount will be applied.
