WRAP AND BUTTON ADULT BOOTIES

This is an adult version inspired by the Wrap and Button Baby Booties.

Comfy sock/slippers worked toe/up, in one piece.
The buttoned wrap is very stretchy, great for any foot-shape and size.
The loop-edge is used as closure for the buttoning, giving several options for number of buttons, and where to place them for a comfortable fit.
The stitch used is front post and back post dc.
Fast and easy, with a neat ribbed texture for a warm, snug, and squishy fabric.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

MATERIALS:

Yarn: Light/3/DK/8 ply, or Medium/4/Worsted/10 ply.
WPI (Wrap per Inch): 10.

My yarn: “Mystery yarn-scraps” in wool/polyester:
50 g = 90 m (1.8 oz = 98.5 yd).
Use any yarn suitable for your project, obtaining the gauge-info in pattern.

Amount:
About 75-125 g (2.5- 4.5 oz), depending on size.

Buttons: 6-8 pcs. Diameter about 1,8-2 cm (3/4 inch).
Crochet hook:
3,5 mm (US E/4).

My buttons are handmade out of branches found in my garden!

SIZES:

Small = US 2 - 4 / EU 34-36
Medium = US 5 - 6 / EU 37-38
Large= US 7 - 8/ EU 39-40
Extra Large = 9-10 / EU 41-42

The S-Size can be worn by kids.
