This shawl turned out to be somewhat of a knitting sampler, using cable, lace and wide border stitching to comprise a display of wonderful knitting. The yarn I used blocked to a very generous size of 19” by 81”, long enough to “Wrap You Up” quite nicely.

The intermediate knitter should have an enjoyable time working up this shawl. Blocking is strongly advised to present your lovely work at it’s best.

Materials needed for this shawl are 900 yds. of DK weight yarn, Katia Concept Cotton Yak, 7 skeins, #7 US needles, cable needle and 3 stitch markers. Oh, and don’t forget the pattern which is entirely in both row by row written and charted instructions.
