I fell in love with the Grandma’s Edging, and have now incorporated it into 3 designs of mine. A sampler scarf, a baby sweater, and now this baby blanket. This is an easy pattern, and you will find that you have memorized the pattern in no time. The baby blanket is constructed from the center out and measures 36 x 36 unblocked. It uses a unique stitch in the center where you knit into the row below. This creates a little bow tie pattern that is now one of my favorites.
