I count this pattern as intermediate, only because attaching the hood to the scarf can be a bit confusing, other then that it is easy to learn, with photos to help with the slightly more difficult parts.

5 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Approximately 550 yards of medium weight yarn (4)
