PATTERN DETAILS:

• Skill Level: Advanced Beginner - this pattern uses dc and a special stitch called the “bead stitch.” There are written instructions, picture tutorial and a link to a video tutorial to help you with this stitch.
• Terminology: Standard US Crochet Terms
• Finished product size: Approx. 27” (L) x 70” (W) - you can adjust the size simply by adding or subtracting rows of the pattern repeat.
• Meeting gauge is not essential for this pattern. However, I recommend that before starting your project, you make a swatch to see how you like the drape of the crocheted fabric.
• This shawl can be made using DK #3, worsted weight #4, or bulky #5 yarn. The DK shawl will be more suitable for spring/early fall, whereas the worsted weight/bulky one will be more suitable for late fall/winter.
• The pattern is written for DK #3 yarn, but there are detail yarn and hook suggestions in the pattern for worsted weight #4 and bulky #5 yarn.
• Hook needed: 5.5mm for DK, 6mm for worsted weight, 7mm for bulky
