Fingerless mitts with a short box-pleated cuff and corset-inspired cable pattern. Pictured longer, but instructions include mod for shorter style. Details include an optional Latvian braid, double-wrapped stitches in the cable pattern, and a gusseted thumb.

I just barely squeezed my first pair (longer option) out of one skein of Pura Bella Wool Silk DK (140 yards) with only a couple yards to spare.
