I adore wrought iron gates. It is like magic how what appears so fragile is incredibly strong. I saw many such wonders while touring Copenhagen.

“Wrought By Time” was inspired by iron gates. I had a dream where I was hiking in a woods and came across ruins of an ancient keep…

It is quiet.

Your boots crunch as you hike along the frost- covered old path. The morning light filters through the lace of bare branches. You breathe, the crisp autumn air filling your lungs.

It is cold. You tug the woolen hat, fresh from your needles, lower over your brow.

The hike ends unexpectedly with an old gate made of stone and iron. The ramparts have long since fallen away, leaving the crumbling arch and decaying wrought iron alone to guard a forgotten keep.
