are you steek phobic??: I recently released this demo showing how to do the weaving method I like in purl. This means you can now work Wrought Iron in rows!!! Sure wish I’d come up with this when I originally designed it. Oh happy day!

Wrought Iron
This shawl was inspired by the stylized twisting vines of a piece of wrought iron artwork. The shawl is created by knitting fair-isle in the round with a generous steek. The preferred method for creating the fair-isle color work is the two-handed weaving technique described in the book Fair Isle Sweaters Simplified by Ann and Eugene Bourgeois and demonstrated at their website.

Both charts and written instructions are provided.
