Wrung
Wrung is a neckwarmer, cowl, knit in the round with a very easy to memorize, 10 stitch lace pattern. The increases and decreases within the pattern are what provide the interesting scalloped edges, and ridges within the fabric. It can be left unblocked for a snug fit, or blocked flat to smooth the hems and open up the lace for a looser fit.
This pattern is very easily adaptable, by casting on extra stitches in increments of 10, you will get a larger circumference. You can knit it as tall as you like, or cast on with a ball of worsted weight, and keep knitting until you have only enough left for the bind off.
All the options are yours! I’ve made a shorter one, about 4”, as a headband, which was promptly snagged by my niece. I’ve made one using 210 yards as a commission, with an extra 10 stitch repeat. So there’s many ways to customize it for yourself or others.
