WULLPULLOVER (derived from ‘Wull,’ meaning ‘wool’ in Low-German, mainly spoken in Northern Germany, including the Island of Rügen), is a rustic raglan-style sweater crafted to highlight Pomeranian Coarsewool sheep wool. Worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, it combines the body and sleeves with optional mock-seams for stability. The raglan seams are shaped through simple decreases, and the neck is elevated and shaped for an optimal fit. Optional crochet braids on seams and an elegant sewn bind-off on the crew neck provide decorative touches. The wool, used in ‘Pommernglück Fein’ from CALLING SHEEP, is sourced from the native German Pommernschaf breed from the Island of Rügen. With an aim to complement the natural characteristics of the yarn, this pattern cleverly marries circular knitting’s seamless construction with structural elements found in flat knitting and includes optional design elements for a customized or quick knit.

Sizing:
For a classic fit please choose a size 5-10 cm larger than your actual chest circumference. For a more relaxed fit choose a size 10-15 cm larger. The sample in the photos is size 2 with 15 cm positive ease.
