Yarn
- Use Bulky-weight or double-strand Aran/Worsted-weight yarn
- Use yarn that is made from wool, wool/mohair, or other sturdy animal fiber
- Smallish size uses approx 3 oz / 85 g
- Largish size uses approx 4 oz / 113 g
From the website: Why “Smallish” and “Largish”? Because size really doesn’t matter! Warm Woolies patterns are designed to meet the needs of the children for whom our volunteers knit (tirelessly, for tens of thousands of hours each year!). These children come in all shapes and sizes. Taking into account variations in knitters and yarns, these two sizes should cover most of the cold feet we try to keep warm.
