I used a quite common easy increase/decrease pattern to make this quick-to-knit cowl. The resulting texture looks like ripples or waves. I called this cowl Wylm which is Old English for wave.

Circumference: 84 cm / 33 inches unstretched; 108 cm / 42 ½ inches stretched
Height: 30 cm / 12 inches

Gauge – unblocked
10 stitches and 12 Rows = 5 cm / 2 inches in lace stitch pattern on US 8 (5 mm) needles

Approximate yardage - est. 154 g / 5.4 oz. (258 m / 282 yds)

Yarn Used
Red Heart Comfort 1677 m / 1000 g (1834 yds / 35 oz), 1 ball. Colour 3147 Bordeaux. Any currently available Worsted (#4) yarn with similar yardage may be substituted.

Needles - US 8 (5 mm) circular, 56cm /22” long, or size needed to obtain gauge
