I started re-watching the X-Files series, so naturally I had to make mittens.

X-Files mitts/mittens are knit in the round from the bottom up and include a shaped thumb gusset and Latvian Braid. The left mitt/mitten displays the X-Files logo. The right mitt/mitten contains either the phrase “The Truth Is Out There” OR “I Want To Believe.” Charts are included for both versions.

Pattern can be worked using a long circular needle for Magic Loop or with double-pointed needles. The mitts/mittens contain long floats, so be sure to catch the yarn frequently on back of work.

Requires 90 yards of Main Color and 115 yards of Contrasting Color for fingerless mitts and 120 yards Main Color and 130 yards Contrasting Color for mittens.
