FREE BONUS: Xanthe’s Bumbles - a delightful bonus pattern of little dressed bumblebees

This delightful dressed doll is approx. 20 inches high and is suitable for intermediate knitters. She is worked flat and seamed.

Materials Required:
50g ball flesh – head, arms, legs
2 x 50g ball gold – body, arm and leg stripe, skirt, headband, trims
2 x 50g ball black– slippers, headband and flower
Cream boucle for hair
22 inches/55cm black tulle for underskirt (optional)
2 small buttons for eyes
2 large (2cm) black buttons for straps
2 black chenille sticks (pipe cleaners)
Bumblebee charm or button
Narrow ribbon for attaching charm approx 50cm/20 inches
Good quality stuffing

EQUIPMENT
Knitting needles – 3mm, 3.25mm, 4mm (UK No. 11, 10, 8)
Crochet hook – 4mm (optional – for crochet bows, flower and to attach hair)
Tapestry needle
General equipment – scissors, row counter, pins
Blue washable or purple disappearing marker (or chalk) – to mark the hair positions.
PVA glue

A few extra pieces are needed for the lil bumbles
