Xanthe
Xanthe is a long, slim scarf with ruffled edges. It can be worked in a single colour or using a series of mini-skeins to create stripes or a fade from dark to light, or light to dark.
It starts with the centre section worked in rows back and forth, then continues in rounds.
My sample was crocheted using laceweight mini-skeins, working from light to dark shades, but the design could easily be worked in 4-ply or thicker yarns if preferred.
I used a total of 100g/800m and a 3.00mm hook for my scarf, which gave a finished size of 18cm (7 inches) wide and 200cm (79 inches) in length.
The length can easily be adjusted if required.
Recommended for those with a little experience.
The pattern is fully written.
