This is a quick and easy filet scarf, which takes about 4 hours to make once you get the pattern established. It’s worked in one piece, using mainly double crochet & chain stitches, and uses one ball of yarn, which makes this ideal for gift giving! You can adjust the length to your personal preferences. This scarf was inspired by some doodling on a piece of paper!

There is a diamond within a diamond shape at the beginning and end of the scarf, and a simple diamond or X shape in the middle. Repeating the X as many times as you desired will change the finished size of the scarf. The pattern is very intuitive once you get going, making it ideal for a first filet project.

Pattern includes written directions, and a little chart. Most of my testers found that the chart was easier to follow once you got the feel for the pattern.
