The pattern was designed for regular chenille yarn, but works with just about any size of chunky, bulky, or jumbo yarn!

Gauge is not important for this pattern. It should work in just about any chunky, bulky, or jumbo yarn.
However, tension is very important. For hdc, you should try to keep a tighter tension, and for sl st, you should try to be loose.
