Xmas Cheer Stocking
X-Mas Cheer Stocking is the perfect knit for anyone on your holiday list. The festive herringbone design is sure to catch Santa’s eye! Herringbone never goes out of style - so knit up one for everyonel & have holiday heirlooms for years to come.
X-Mas Cheer Stocking is knit using worsted weight yarn. The knitting instructions are written for either toe up or cuff down knitters. Your choice!
This project is a snap for anyone with some experience knitting socks as well as colorwork projects. But, don’t be discouraged if this is your first time. A stocking is a great way to learn how to knit socks. After all, the finished project doesn’t have to fit anybody!
The stocking is knit in the round. Whether you choose the toe up or cuff down method, both versions feature an easy short row heel. The colorwork design is charted. Tip: catch longer floats after every 4-6 stiches to keep the bold herringbone design from puckering.
