Only the rim of the sack is crocheted with feathers and dk yarn held together. The sack is crocheted with dc sts and the puppy with sc. The sack used a full 100gskein of red yarn and the puppy almost a full skein of caremel yarn. I used only a bit of the white and the feather yarn.
