Poncho has K2P2 ribbing around bottom edges, with a folded-over, ribbed collar around the neck. The front features a wide cable down the center.

Front and back are kitted separately, and neck edges are shaped before casting off outside edges for each piece (leaving center stitches live for the collar.) The left side is joined, then stitches are picked up around the neck edge for the ribbed collar. Finally, the neck-band seam and right sides are joined.
