Noro Mossa Waistcoat Y-960
Finished Measurements
Width 38in/96cm (underarm)
Length 20in/51cm (center back)
Materials
US 10½ (7mm) needles (x2)
230 gr (about 5 skeins) Noro Mossa shade #15
Tension
Measured over stocking stitch using US 10½ needles 13sts x 20rs = 4in (10cm) square
Beautifully styled waistcoat with rounded edges due to “short row” technique. Knitted in 3 parts:
- 1 upper back (knitted traditionally)
- 2 lower back and front pieces (R & L), knitted in short rows, starting with a sideways piece which is sewn on to half the lower back and then “turns” to make the front half + collar.
Suits the Noro Mossa wool perfectly, with its bubbly texture and surprising colour changes.
