Yak Earflap Hat is a matching hat for Yak Sweater published in my book “Timeless Textured Baby Crochet”.

It will be perfect for boys – girls and boys. Earflaps are optional, you can make simple beanie if you stop after ribbing.

Sizes and measurements of finished hat (circumference):
Baby (up to 40cm or 15 ¾”)
Toddler (up to 45cm or 17 ¾“)
Child (up to 50cm or 19 ¾”)

Materials
• approx. 115 (196, 230) m or 126 (214, 252) yards of any DK weight yarn or light worsted weight yarn
Suggested yarns: Laines du Nord Merino Yak, 70% Wool, 15% Alpaca, 15 Yak, 50g (1.8oz), 115m/126yards
• crochet hook 4mm or size needed to obtain gauge
