【About this Design】
An ode to the famous green train in Tokyo: This hat is a bit of fun, mixed with snippets of traditional Scottish fair isle techniques. This hat is worked in the round, from the bottom up with a cheeky pom pom on top. If you like fair isle knitting and love the Yamanote line, you’ll enjoy working on this!

Both English and Japanese are available in a single download.
The pattern is a mix of written and charted instructions but both literacy sets are necessary for this colourwork pattern.

★Yarn: Fingering weight (7 colours)
The sample is knit in Jamieson’s of Shetland “Spindrift” (100% shetland wool, 25g balls) in the following colours and amounts:
Rye (140) 2 balls, Titanic (151) 1 ball, Leprechaun (259) 1 ball, Blue Lovat (232) 1 ball, Neptune (162) 1 ball, Mimosa (400) 1 ball, Sky (130) 1 ball
★Finished size: circumference: 49 cm Height (not including pom pom): 22cm
★Needles and tools: JP 2, (2.70mm), JP 4, (3.30mm) 100cm circular needles (or DPNs), Darning needle and scissors.

【デザインについて】
電車に乗って、お店巡り。電車を編み込んだ、山手線カラーのトーク帽です。
ヤーンクロールの発起人、カサンドラ原田がデザインしました。
フェアアイルのテクニックを使い、かぶり口から輪に編みます。
使う路線に合わせて色を変えて、あなただけの帽子を編むのも楽しいはず。

1枚のパターンに、英語の文章形式＋模様部分のチャート（編み図）と簡単な日本語メモが併記されています。
英語が苦手でも、パターンを見て編んでいただけます。
