One of my ladies has seen something online resembling a round blanket that can also be used as a bag. Excited by this idea and the sheer practicality of such a make we combined a list of attributes we wanted (stitches they wanted to learn and what they wanted the blanket initially to look like) and I wrote it as we made it.
So here it is, with a Yantra or Mandala as the centre and a pastel contrast colour to make it POP.
The cotton blend Caron cotton as well as the angel cake are beautiful to work with!!! So much so that I used it again in one of my other patterns (the Lido Beach Halter Neck Top).
Gauge is not essential unless you find you are VERY LOOSE.
