This adorable amigurumi yarn ball is parading around in disguise as a cactus!

Skill Level: Beginner Friendly!

Materials:
You will need yarn, 3.50 mm crochet hook, 8 mm safety eyes, embroidery thread/floss, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, and poly-fill for stuffing. Optionally you may need fabric/hot glue.

Let’s Talk Yarn!
You will need to use #4 worsted weight yarn for this project. I used 50 yards of Mainstay Basic yarn in the color green for the yarn ball cactus. I used 25 yards of Hobby Lobby’s I LOVE THIS YARN in the color pumpkin for the pot. I used 5 yards of Red Heart Super Saver in the color Cherry Red for the flower. You will also need some black and pink embroidery floss.

Final Measurement:
Your finished cactus will measure 4 inches tall. Your finished cactus will measure 3 ½ inches wide.

Gauge:
Gauge is not extremely important for this pattern. You just want your stitches to be tight enough that poly-fill won’t poke out!
