This hat is available free, courtesy of Alpacas of San Diego, during the 2017 San Diego Yarn Crawl. The traditional basketweave is an easy pattern to memorize after a couple of repeats, knitting in the round. It is very stretchy, which makes it an easy present to make for sizes child to adult.
