This Pattern is your entry into the 2020 South Eastern Ontario Yarn Crawl which runs April 1 to May 23/20 and includes 14 LYS. We wind up this travelling adventure at the Picton Fibre Fest on May 23/20.

Included with your pattern download is your yarn crawl passport PDF: 36 pages of information on every community, including the LYS, restaurants and cafes, lodgings, maps, attractions and yarn crawl prizes.

Each of the 14 LYS you visit will offer a 10% discount for yarn crawl participants and various store events.

I designed these fingerless car gloves as a kind of ‘vanilla’ pattern: beginner knitter and simple enough to create your own unique version using the stitch count and the instructions.

Using the basic pattern you can play with colour combination, yarn and embroidery to create your own fingerless gloves for the yarn crawl.

The design can be completed using your favourite method for knitting in the round: a circular needle or 5 double point needles and is a fairly quick knit. Several South Eastern Ontario indie dyers have lovely yarns to choose from as you plan your gloves and the LYS are happy to assist your selection.
