Yarn Fumes
Part of the swoon collection.
I get teased a lot about “yarn fumes” - you know the feeling - overcome by a yarn’s beauty in the store so that you just HAVE to buy it.
Sometimes you then end up wondering what exactly you are going to make with your single skein of gorgeous yarn.
This is what I made with a single skein of La Bien Aimee Aran that I just couldn’t resist.
And the motifs look like little puffs of smoke - fumes ! ☻
The original cowl was made last spring before my trip to Japan and I had intended to include it in a set of Japan-inspired knits, but having seen how well it works with all types of yarns, I’ve decided to include it in the swoon collection.
Works with striping, variegated or solids.
