Yarn Stash Buster Mitts
I started these when I had some leftover yarn from a project I just completed and wanted to find something to do with it other than throw it in a drawer. The next thing I know, I had two variations and was starting a third pair because they took up just the right amount of yarn (less than a typical skein) to complete a pair. They also work up quickly.
These mitts are great for keeping your hands warm when you still need your fingers to do small chores, type, or use your phone. The flat thumb holes are great for unrestricted movement without bulk.
They are worked on double-pointed needles in the round.
Finished Size – approximately 9 1/4” x 3” laid flat without blocking
Gauge is largely irrelevant. I made the mitts in the same way with different yarn weights and they came out in similar sizes.
