The Yarn Tour Sampler Sock grew out my desire to create a project solely from mini skeins I collected on The Great Tennessee Yarn Tour. This textured striped pattern is adaptable for varying quantities of mini skeins or leftover fingering weight yarn from other projects.

I used 13 colors for the socks in the photo, approximately 70 grams (2.5 ounces) total for the women’s size. The colors I used most are the purple (cuff and instep decrease) and the pink (heel and toe). The purple is a 75% superwash merino wool/25% nylon blend, 109 yards per 25 grams, and I used 18 grams of it. The pink is 50% cotton/50% wool, 110 yards per 20 grams. I used 10 grams of it.
