Avatar: The Last Airbender was a cartoon series on Nickelodeon that my kids watched when they were little. It was such an excellent show, a fun and interesting plot, I think hubby and I enjoyed it more than they did. They had earth benders, fire benders, airbenders and water benders. I always joked (with much eye-rolling from kids) that I was a yarn bender.

Avatar is very popular with the anime / graphic novel crowd, and has a large Comicon following.
