I’m excited to share with you my new design, Yarniversal Cowl. I’m honored to be chosen by my local yarn store, Center of the Yarniverse, in Ashland, Virginia, to design a shawl for the James River Yarn Crawl 2019. This design is a collaboration between Unplanned Peacock Studio,Center of the Yarniverse’s logo, and myself.

The shawl uses a variety of simple stitch combinations to keep it interesting for the seasoned beginner and experienced knitter. This pattern works great for a mini skein set of 5 colors of 115 yards/25 grams each, 575 yards/125 grams total or use up your stash yarn.

24 in (60 cm) size US 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle.

Notions
1 crochet hook F (3.75 mm) for cast on, 1 stitch marker, cable needle (optional), tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge
22 stitches and 36 Rnds = 4 in (10 cm) in Small Circles pattern stitch, washed and lightly blocked.
